Poem #12 - Cosmic Dance

I remember hearing James Reyne talking about the song "Boys light up" and what it was about. So I took that thought, and went well umm teenagers...

Boy meets girl.

Boy impresses girl

Girl gives in to boy.

And that ended up being Cosmic Dance, a tale of 2 young lovers giving in to their primal passions.

Cosmic Dance.

Like two stars colliding in the cosmic dance,

Innocence and fire in a fleeting trance,

Young hearts entwined, a tapestry so new,

A fragile tale of love that’s painted in hues.

We were melodies weaving, hearts aflutter,

Lost in a world where time seemed to stutter,

Whispers of dreams and secrets untold,

In the realm of teenage love, we were bold.

Exploring uncharted territories, we’d roam,

Curious souls finding solace in the unknown,

Like a garden of emotions, blooming wild and free,

Our souls danced in rhythm, forever young and carefree.

And in that tender moment, stars aligned,

A page turned in the book of love, forever signed,

Two rivers converging, with currents intertwined,

A symphony of sensations, a journey undefined.

With trembling hands and hearts ablaze,

We ventured into passion’s secret maze,

A canvas of intimacy, colours rich and deep,

A tale of discovery that our hearts would keep.

Time marched on, like footprints in the sand,

Yet those memories of youth forever stand,

A chapter of our lives, written in a sacred font,

Teenage love’s sweet echoes, a melody that still haunts.
